Whitetail Hunting:
In
North Texas land owners and ranch managers are
organizing their efforts to manage game by working
with biologists and participating in wildlife
associations. Deer have been taken in these area
that score up to 220 B&C gross (2006) and 206 4/8
B&C net (1997). These are Texas state records taken
on and within a few miles from our properties.
Expect to see 130 class bucks and better. Several
150 gross bucks were taken including a 186 with a
drop tine.
You
will hunt out of well maintained box blinds,
tripods, or tree stands and even in some cases you
can hunt from the ground. From January to August we
feed 20% protein pellets with minerals & vitamins.
These ranches
have been under game management since 1999 and some
areas have not been hunted since 2005.
